Hi, I’m Lisa. Welcome to this little corner of the internet.
A corner filled with love, kindness, and gentle moments of humour that create lightness.
This space exists so women can feel normal.
So you don’t feel alone in the things you carry quietly.
That voice you hear when you walk into a meeting, wondering if you really belong there.
Normal.
That familiar overwhelm when you want a job done and it feels easier to just do it yourself.
Normal.
That frustration when you realise that if you had asked for help, someone probably would have helped.
Yep... I know. That’s me too.
And here’s the thing.
We can’t always control the situations we find ourselves in.
But we can learn to change how we meet them.
How we hold ourselves inside them.
How we support ourselves through them.
And that’s what this space is really about.

What I believe
I’m known by my friends and family for being the person who always finds the positive. Sometimes annoyingly so.
Not because I force it.
And definitely not because I believe in telling anyone to “just be positive.”
But because over the years, through my own life and my own inner work, I’ve come to understand something deeply.
There is always more going on beneath what we can see.
There is meaning in what we feel.
There is guidance in our emotions.
And there is a way of meeting life that feels more supportive, more connected, and far kinder to ourselves.
I believe in the quiet intelligence of the body.
In the subtle language of emotions.
In the way gratitude shifts not just our mindset, but our entire relationship with life and the Universe.
This is the heart of the work I do.
I guide women back into relationship with themselves.
To notice what their body is communicating.
To understand the patterns behind their thoughts and reactions.
To reconnect with the part of them that already knows.
And from there, confidence begins to return.
Not the loud, performative kind.
But a calm confidence.
A grounded power.
A deep inner remembering of who you are, what you carry, and the way you make people feel when you walk into a room.
A little about me
I’m Lisa.
Mum, wife, dog mum... and occasionally a full-on perimenopausal mess.
I live in a very old house in Bristol. Around 175 years old.
Which means life is often a mix of deep cups of tea, big feelings, and something needing attention somewhere in the house.
And underneath all of that, I know this to be true about myself:
I believe I’m here to shine a light.
To support women in believing in themselves more.
To help them reconnect with who they are beneath the roles, the pressure, and the “I should be fine” stories.
Because I’ve seen this again and again, in myself and in the women I work with:
You can have a good life on paper...
and still feel overwhelmed.
Still feel disconnected.
Still feel like something inside you is asking for more.
Not more to do.
But more depth.
More understanding.
More you.
That’s why I created my podcast, Loving Life - A Guide to a Positive Mindset.
To offer support, reflection, and guidance for women who feel overwhelmed, quietly self-doubting, or emotionally tired.
Overwhelm has honestly been my middle name for much of my life.
And over the years, through mindset work, energy work, and a lot of self-honesty, I’ve become very good at meeting it differently.
This blog is an extension of that same intention.
